I know nothing about where did the Totalitarian come from....

Saturn Community for short in Chinese is "土共"(Tu Gong), and that's the way Chinese talk about CCP in many forums

SC is a small Party.
Some of us is preparing for the congress member election
So 4 of us join other parties during the election day temporarily.
eChina is facing the danger of PTO for the lack of native players.

In “real” China, with the lack of knowlege of political terms about "ism"s, many people believe that Libertarian is something like Neoliberalism.
That's anti-socialists, you know. So we tend to use other words.
btw, Chinese Goverment is always called "Totalitarian" by neo-liberals here and there.
That's because communists in China always talk about "obedience" and "discipline".
In fact, these thoughts both came from the Confucianism creed and the real and VERY HARD Chinese Revolution, in which millions of soldiers died. In early years some opportunist brought historic tragedy to CCP with THEIR so called"Liberalism".
So we'd rather call ourselves "totalitarian" rather than anything based on "liberal", or neo-liberals will say "look, they r following us". Mad
When we use the term "totalitarian", we mean that we don't agree with neo-liberals. Laughing
Of course, none of us wants an emperor or something like Hitler. Very Happy
WE ONLY FIGHT FOR TRUE FREEDOM.

In RL China are terms like 'Libertarian' so warped that they are actually viewed as a anagram for 'Liberalism'? Shocked

Obfuscation sucks.

Well at least it's hard for me without dictionary.Maybe some people also intent to confuse that while translating the game.
As far as i know these words just look and sound like very much in common Mandarin.
there is NOT any simple Chinese words that means Libertarian. It is translated to "自由意志主义" ,"古典自由主义" or ''自由主义“,while liberalism is "自由主义". For a 100% Chinese speaker that's a mess.
In order to reduce trouble I decided not to talk about words start with "liber".... Crying or Very sad
