Cuba, 50th anniversary of the revolution!
July the 26th, 1959, the date that the fascist, dictator, Batista fled the country after losing battles against the patriotic Cuban fighters. 50 years ago, Fidel, Raul, Ernesto, Abascal and all of the other heroes of the Cuban people entered Habana..
From the second the guerillas of the 26th July movement entered Habana, imperialism attacked the nation. With economic sanctions, and physical attacks. However, Cuba resisted.. Because they knew that at the end the resistance would win..
Because the Cuban people were patriotic, they resisted against the sanctions!
Because they knew what PATRIA O MUERTE meant!
And now, it is the 50th year of the revolution, standing strong against imperialism!
Resist!
Vamos Bien Cuba!
Venceremos!
-----------
DHC (the Turkish Socialist Party) won the elections on 26th of July.. What a coincidence!

I think you've got your dates mixed up. 26th July 1953 was the start of the revolution. It ended January 1st 1959.
Re: Cuba, 50th anniversary of the revolution!
eh yes i know..
I said that because fidel once said, it started 26th of july and it ended on 26th..

Socialism = A one party dictatorship? Democracy is the road to socialism comrade. Need I remind you who said that? And don't come back at me with that true democracy is what Fidel says it is shit. Solidarity.
Re: Cuba, 50th anniversary of the revolution!
One party dictatorship? Dont make me laugh. If you believe that socialism can be achieved with social democracy lie you are wrong.. Actually I should not say that you are wrong because you obviously dont follow Marxist-Leninist idea or orthodox Marxism.

Stalinism is not the way either. I'm a Leninist aswell. The fact remains that only Trotsky and Stalin called themselves Leninists in the '20s-'30s (and after) but there are still orthodox Leninists. Don't call yourself Leninist if you have Stalin in your avatar, that just fools people.

Are you Comrade Stalin's multi-account or something? Because I got the same exact response from him when I said the USSR wasn't democratic.joseph kalinin wrote:One party dictatorship? Comrade Stalin's funny.
Leninism stinks. There I said it. Luxemburg and Trotsky. These are the people who were on to something. You cannot force revolution on the people. A revolution must be a mass movement of the people, not of some know it all middle-class intellectuals. The job of a revolutionary is to broadcast, spread the message of the cause. It is not to assume power in some delusional belief that you know best. It is the proletariat that must arise. The proletariat that knows best. Not Lenin and his merry men. It shares this in common with terrorism. Individuals acting individually. For the masses to prevail, democracy and liberty must prevail. To claim that the dictatorship of the Leninist is the dictatorship of the proletariat is completely groundless. It's dangerous, counter-productive nonsense that all too often results in further violence, something else it shares in common with terrorism.

I love the argument brought forward by many anti-Leninists that the October revolution was a coup d'etat, or whatever you want to call it. Nevertheless, the revolution happened because the Bolsheviks organized the angry masses behind their goals. The Soviets had all the power until the unfortunate centralization that occured during the Civil War. This was started in the Red Army by no one else then comrade Trotsky who wanted a more centralized army command instead of soldiers Soviets.
Every country require their own revolution, Lenin says this too. He even goes as far as to motivate why he believed in democratic centralism in Russia. One of the primary reasons was that the RSDLP had been disbanded every single time in the late 19th centuary and early 20th centuary thanks to "openess", which made it too easy for the Czarist police to crack down on the leftist newspapers and organizations.
I believe we can also give the credit for a Red victory in the civil war to this democratic centralism, which without would have lead to a White victory. Even if the democratic centralism got a tight grip of the system during this time, we shouldn't forget the conditions that improved during the "stalinist" era compared to a Czarist state. You can't side with the right-wing over a one-party state.
