Ouch. I understand that the Indonesian government has been like that for a long time. They got lots of help from the USA in that respect.

Sounds familier to me over here in USA, that is why I'm within the Independent lobby. DSPA (Democratic Socialist Party of America). The most rejected Party in the country

I'm not in a party but I would support the Socialist Party of Ireland and The People before profit Alliance here in Ireland and I have done a little bit of voulanteering in the Past for The Socialist Party of Ireland

Irish Labour Party, they're the only ones with competence in economics of any kind, though it is not as left wing as I'd like them to be, my presence as well as the presence of many others keeps it from going New Labour on us.

Ruaidhrí, the People Before Profit Alliance = The Socialist Worker's Party....

All you Brits who are currently members of other socialist parties in the UK, I would urge you to join the British Labour party and help retake it from the Blairite factions. The more left wing opinion there is in the big democratic socialist-social democratic parties, the further we can push them.

i want a career in diplomacy
however it could also turn out good in politics for me, and communist parties are not good to rise in politics in Romania.

I think that how much opposed they may be, both socialism and liberalism could work in a society. It only depends on the population and what the people want.
